Hi, I’m Vanessa Lovett, and I’m the Wealth Management Assistant at Congruent Wealth. My role involves handling a variety of tasks that help our team stay organized and focused, including managing paperwork, coordinating schedules, supporting staff, and overseeing outbound client communications. I love that my job keeps me on my toes, offering new challenges every day.
I’ve been in the financial industry for 6 years, with a background that includes serving as a Senior Relationship Specialist at a credit union. Before my financial career, I worked for 13 years as a retail manager, where I was a top performer, developed talent, and honed my leadership skills. I’m a proud graduate of First Coast High School in Jacksonville, FL, where I was born and raised.
Finance has always been a natural fit for me because I’ve always been good at managing my own finances. As a kid, I would save my leftover lunch money in my piggy bank instead of spending it. I knew that by saving, I could get something better down the road, and that mindset stuck with me. Today, what excites me most about the industry is learning new things, helping others, and constantly challenging myself to grow.
Clients often tell me I’m knowledgeable, responsive, and empathetic. I pride myself on providing both urgency and sympathy in every situation, ensuring that our clients feel heard and supported. My expertise lies in client relations, financial operations, team leadership, account opening, budgeting, and team building. It’s the combination of personal interaction and financial knowledge that I find most rewarding.
What I enjoy most about my job is the variety—there’s no repetitiveness, and every day brings something new. I also find great joy in hearing our clients’ stories. I learn so much from them, and their experiences often shape how I approach my work.
My family is my biggest source of motivation. My life partner and our children inspire me every day to live up to the values my parents instilled in me: hard work, loyalty, and discipline. I want to show my kids that with dedication, you can achieve anything.
When I’m not at work, I’m passionate about being outdoors. Whether it's gardening, hiking, biking, or glamping, I love connecting with nature. I also enjoy playing video games and watching movies in my downtime.
